I was prevented from seeing the holy sites of the Bible because of the conflicts in the Middle East, cost, and communication issues. Instead, in 2010, my sister Kathy and I visited the now-closed Holy Land Experience in Florida.
It was a very emotional experience for me. Coming out of the replica of Jesus's tomb, I was touched by the Holy Spirit and given the job of becoming an advocate for God.
Returning home, I found a flyer on my doorstep, which led me to my next step in spiritual awareness through the teachings of the Seventh-Day Adventist church. The church provided me with tutors who helped me find answers to questions I always had. Over the years, five different tutors helped me put together the story of Jesus and his second coming as interpreted by the church. I now have a ten-inch binder that tells the story of Jesus and his second coming.
Materials I've prepared to share my beliefs, including a model of the Tabernacle.
